Avery Wone Becoats, also known as “Big A”,
was 53 years old and a lifelong native of Mobile
and a devoted Alabama fan. He departed this
earthly life for eternal glory on September 26,
2021.
He was a 1987 graduate of Baker High School
home of the “Hornets”. He attended the Greater
Vision of Faith Outreach Ministries, where he
accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Zebedee Becoats, Sr., his sister, Keautions Becoats,
his grandparents, Willie and Dorothy Benjamin,
his nephew, Trevel Becoats, and his niece, Jameya
Becoats.
Avery leaves to cherish his memories his
devoted mother, Margaret Becoats; one brother,
Zebedee (Debra) Becoats, Jr.; four sisters, L.
Becoats, Valerie Becoats, Maria Becoats, and
Lalania Becoats. He also leaves a host of nieces,
nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a host of
other relatives and friends; one devoted cousin,
Daryl Benjamin.
