Carrie Bee Holmes

Carrie Bee Holmes, 62, of Mobile, Al, peacefully passed away on September 10, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.  Carrie Bee Holmes was born on April 19, 1961, to Vester Gaines.

Carrie had a heart of gold.  She opened her doors to many.  She was passionate about cooking.  She loved being in the kitchen, especially around holidays.  She loved her children and grandchildren.

Carrie was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Overton, mother Vester Gaines, brother Larry Holmes and sister Diane Holmes.

She leaves to cherish memories with her four children Victory (Shanna) Holmes, Los Angeles, CA, Isheba "She-She" Holmes, Eddie "Eddie Ball" Holmes and Elnor "Moonie" Holmses, Chanse Wilson, Braden Knight, Shiya Austin, and Ejah Holmes; god-daughter Ayanna Loveless.

Survived by four sisters, Christine Clark, Ethel Deloris Gardner, Joann (Clark) Solid, Annie (Ricky) Runderson, two brothers, David Holmes, and Derrick Gaines; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many other relatives and friends.
