Daryl James Ham, Sr.

DARYL JAMES HAM, SR., a native of Mobile,
Alabama, born December 12, 1968, and a resident of
Bakersfield, California, departed this life November 8,
2022.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James W.
Boykin; grandmother, Viola Boykin (Donald) Powell;
grandmother Willie M. Ham; grandfather Edward Ham,
Sr.; uncles, Peter Boykin and Leroy Gable.
He was a 1987 graduate of John L. LeFlore Magnet High
School, Mobile, Alabama, and was an escort in the 2017
King and Queen Court of the Toulminville-LeFlore Alumni
Association Alumni Weekend. He was employed as a
retail salesman at Khol’s before moving to California.
He leaves to cherish his memories his two children,
daughter Necole Lecrease Orange of Mobile, Alabama,
and son Daryl James Ham, Jr., Long Beach, California;
two grandsons, Jason Antonio Williams, Jr. and Jayden
Nasir Williams; father, James W. Boykin, Jr. of Mobile,
Alabama and mother, LaBrenda (John Lewis) Ham;
sisters and dedicated brothers: Renata Mosley, Louise
Knight, Jennifer Ham, Sherman Elston, Roshawn Elston,
Christopher Mosley, D’Warren James Pugh; uncles:
Frazier Ham, Fred Ham, Bill Ham, Jerry Ham, and Sonny
Knight; aunts, Hattie Currie, Linda Flowers, Earlene
Moore, Daine Anderson, Patricia Ham, Belinda Ham,
Lynda (Boykin) Sidney Kenner, Louisana, Emily Boykin
(Ronald) Tucker, and Jerrilyn Boykin (Michael) Osifo,
Mobile, Alabama; nieces and nephews, Perjanae Elston,
Arizjanae Brown, Sherman Elston, Malayasha Elston,
Keniya George, Ashton Irvin, AH’Kari George, Shemar
Elston, Latausha Ham, Porcha Penn, Yacquan Ham,
Demetrius Penn, and Tayum Elston; and a host of
cousins, family and friends.
