Elisha D. Hale was born on November 10, 1966, in Snowhill, Alabama to the late Robert Thomas, Sr. and Hattie M. Thomas.
Then at a young age he confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined the Antioch Baptist Church in Alabama. He attended schools in Wilcox County, Alabama and later graduated from William Jones High school. Later he decided to attend Concordia College in Selma, Alabama.
Years later Elisha D. Hale decided to move to Miami, Florida where he worked there as a school crossing guard for 30 years with Miami Dade County. After his retirement he decided to move back home to Mobile, Alabama. While in Mobile he took ill, and God decided to call him home on April 30, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Thomas Sr. and Hattie Thomas, and brothers Eddie Hale, Cand Thomas and Richard Thomas. He leaves behind to cherish his memories two brothers Robert Thomas and Frank (Carolyn) Thomas; two sisters Alicia (Ernest) Ramsey and Rozine Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends
