Gabriel Emanuel Sewell

Gabriel Emanual Sewell was born April 23, 1963, to the union of Charles and Earline
Sewell in Mobile Alabama. Gabriel received a formal education through the Mobile
Alabama Public School System, where he excelled in his studies and was a stellar
athlete.

Gabriel accepted Christ at a very young age under his grandfather Bishop John C.
Sewell and learned the true meaning of selfless service. Not only did he fearlessly
express his love for Christ, he also intentionally exuded the characteristic qualities of
Christ. He loved God, he loved to serve, and he loved people even during his most
challenging times.

Gabriel was one of many great talents and unmatched gift of wisdom. He was a coach
to many, a counselor to some and a true friend to all he encountered. He took pride in
being there for others; always providing, supporting, and serving the needs of those in
need. His selfless commitment and unwavering generosity ensured a safe space that
all could rely on.

Gabriel Sewell was employed as a truck driver for more than 30 years which led to the
birthing of his own Trucking Company (GNF Trucking, INC.), where he successfully
spearheaded the success and sustainment of the company. His hard work, dedication,
commitment, and passion for trucking led many others to the field. In his leisure, he
enjoyed fishing, cooking, traveling, eating good food, taking care of his family and
spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Proceeded in death by his one and only son Minister Emanual Sewell
He leaves to cherish his memory; 2 daughters Dr. Nikeisha Johnson (Anthony
Johnson), Faith Sewell; 2 granddaughters Jasony Johnson and Abigail Johnson;
1 brother Charles Sewell (Erica); and 5 sisters Brenda Sewell, Belinda Sewell
(Johnny), Sandra Davis (Roosevelt), Charollette Sewell, Vanessa Eddie and a host
of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
