Gerald Demetrius Woods, Sr. was a native of Mobile, AL, was born September 22, 1970, and departed his earthly tabernacle on September 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Woods of Detroit, MI and one granddaughter, A’lena Woods.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Andretta Robinson of Mobile, AL; seven loving children, Gerald Woods Jr., Courtney (Roy) Leake, Corey Woods all of Houston, TX, Jahze’ Woods,
Jaren Woods, Jasha Woods all of La Grange, TX, and Zamonda Woods of Mobile, AL; one brother, Frederick Kennedy of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Twanda (Richard) Rudolph of Bellville, AL and
Voundria (Gary) Redmon of Flint, MI; eight grandchildren, Brooklyn Woods, Aubri Woods, Dylan Ford, Avery Woods, Kaison Leake, Kody Leake, Ar’mani Woods, and A’mina Woods; two devoted nieces, Ashley Kennedy and Frenesha Collins; a devoted great-aunt, Bessie Mae Williams; one devoted uncle, Burl (Kathelene) Levins of Columbus, GA; one aunt, Cheryl Levins; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
