Jerry Forlonzde Johnson

Jerry “Fonz” Johnson a native of Mobile, Alabama, exchanged his earthly life for eternity on November 3, 2022. Fonz was born August 15, 1976, as the oldest son of Jerry Lindsey and Patricia Johnson. Fonz was a very hard worker and a valued employee for Southern Glass Inc. For all those that knew him well; he was known as “Gummy”. One of his favorite things to do was watch football. He was a Dallas Cowboy super fan.

Jerry was proceeded in death by his parents Jerry Lindsey and Patricia Johnson; Grandparents Bertha Johnson, Bertha Collins, and Thomas Pettway Sr.

Fonz is survived by his daughter Jerry Lynn Patricia Johnson his whole heart who was the love of his life! Two devoted brothers Johnny (Glenda) Johnson and Jarvis Lindsey as well as one sister Jessica Lindsey. He is also survived by loving aunts Frances (Roger) Reynolds, Effie Johnson, Willie Ann Cotten, Ellean Nicholson, Deborah George, Sharron (Michael) Chambers, Loretta Young, Angela Lindsey, Sharon (Ray  Charles) Gamble, Phyllis Pettway Bell, Lisa and Melissa Pettway, and beloved uncles Carl Young, Houston (Bridgette) Vivians, Arthur (Linda) Pettway, Michael (Delores) Pettway, and Broderick (Rudy) Pettway. Loving nieces Alexandra McMillan and Marinasha Lindsey. Fonz is also survived by a host of loving cousins, and one devoted cousin raised as a sister Brandie (Bruce) Turner. Gummy had many loyal friends especially Keyunta McPherson, Rufus Tucker, Gregory Williams and Kedzie Johnson.
