Michael Carneal Jefferson

Michael C. Jefferson was born on October 15,1970, to the late deacon James and Rev. Ora Lee Jefferson in Mobile, AL.

Michael was a member of the Greater Allenville A.O.H. Church of God.  He grew up attending Sunday school and was a dedicated member of the Millie A. Washington (MAW) Youth Choir as a musician(drummer). Michael became a professional drummer playing for Metro Mass Choir, Port City Mass, Rev. Milton Brunson’s Thompson Community Singers, John P. Kee, and the legendary Entertainment Group “TipTop”.   Michael was an outstanding athlete for Davidson High School Warriors where he played football and track and field…HE LOVED HIMSELF SOME MATTIE T. BLOUNT!!!  Mike was considered a mentor by many due to his sincere love for young men with the potential to become TRUE MEN OF STANDARDS.  He coached many young men who are now professional athletes throughout the nation in professional sports.  

Michael Jefferson had an infectious love that others immediately admired due to his smile and true sincerity toward everyone he came in contact with. Michael has been a car salesman for seven years throughout the south-eastern conference.  His accolades include top honors as a two times Salesman of the Year via his professional family of Tameron Honda Eastern Shores.   

Michael Jefferson had an immense love for the entire family.  He was most definitely the family comedian; he was gifted with a sense of humor that kept us all smiling and laughing through any situation.  

Mike never met any stranger that he couldn't strike up a conversation with that didn’t end in a Smile or laugh. Michael departed this life August 25, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his brother Sterling E. Jefferson Sr., James W. Jefferson Sr., Rev. Ora Lee Coleman-Jefferson

 He leaves to cherish his memories to his son Kahlil Traywick-Jefferson, his brother James W. Jefferson Jr. (Trena), Sister-in-Love Denise Jefferson, Nephews Corbyn Jefferson, Juwan Gaynor-Jefferson (Aliyah), Sterling Jefferson Jr. and niece Noelani Jefferson along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends and many God siblings.
