Richard Dailey

November 08, 1953 Richard Lee Dailey was born to the proud Parents Dan Dailey and Rose Mary Dailey in Plateau, Alabama.

Richard Lee accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age and continued in the faith until her demise.

Richard Lee graduated from Spring Greenhill High School in Prichard, Alabama.

Richard Lee loved the Prichard/Mobile area where he learned the trade of Roofer. Richard moved to Pensacola, Florida in the late 1980's and worked there as an Independent Contract Roofer. He traveled throughout many cities repairing and installing Roofs. Richard Lee moved back to Mobile, Al in/around 1999 where he continued to work in the roofing industry, and he was near his family and the bay. The hobby that he loved the most would be fishing. When Richard Lee moved back Down the Bay, he made it a priority to grab his favorite rod and relax fishing and drinking his favorite beer. Richard was such an experienced fisher he educated the next generation on how to identify and appreciate fishing. He was the brother that you can depend on to help fix or repair small appliances or large roofs.

Richard Lee worked for the "Shackman Roofing" in Mobile County until he injured his back. He continued to work until he became too ill to continue, the injury caused him to retire early. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his long-time friend Katrina Corbin (Trina). Richard Lee had an affectionate smile, and he would humor anyone with his jokes and personality.

After a long hard fight with cancer Richard Lee was called home on October 16, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father Dan Dailey, mother Rose Mary Jackson Dailey, sisters Rose Ann Dailey Stone, Nellie Mae Dailey Allwood, and brothers' Dan Jr Dailey, and Jerry Wayne Dailey.

Richard Lee leaves behind his siblings: Sisters: Amelia Jackie Dailey (Houston, TX), Glenda Dailey (Oakland, CA), Juanita Dailey, (Mobile, Al) Sandra Dailey (Mobile, Al) and Debra Sherman (Diamond) (San Bernadino, CA) and brothers; Paris Dailey (Barbara), Samuel Lee Dailey, and Larry Dailey (Faye) all of Mobile, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
