Vernard Johnson

Vernard Johnson, age 47, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, transitioned to eternal rest on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at South Bay Hospital, Sun City Center, Florida. He was a
longshoreman for over 13 years and a proud member of the ILA 1410 Union of Mobile, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bishop Tyson Johnson and Mary Benson; his sisters, Janice Welch and Valaysia McGee; and brother, Anthony Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Veronica Packer Johnson of Mobile, Alabama; a son, Vernard Johnson, Jr., of Arlington, Texas; stepchildren, Marcus Stallworth, Amar Stallworth, and Tatyana Brown, all of Mobile, Alabama; his siblings, Tyson Johnson (Angie) of Eight Mile, Alabama, Arthur James Johnson (Charlene) of North Carolina, and Kennedy (Daphne) Johnson, and Alonzo Johnson (Psachal) Cortez Johnson, both of Mobile, Alabama; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins, nephews, and friends.
